The Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors is excited to announce Wendy Hunt as the organization’s incoming President and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Hunt, the (soon-to-be-former) President and CEO of the Greater Merrimack-Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce will bring her experience in nonprofits and relationships built in the Greater Nashua area to grow the Chamber membership and help be a catalyst for the business community.
“We are very pleased to announce Wendy Hunt as our incoming President and CEO,” said Brian Law, Chair of the Greater Nashua Chamber’s Board of Director. “Her previous experience with other nonprofit organizations in the Greater Nashua region made her a great candidate. Being a Chamber of Commerce that supports 11 towns and cities, there is a tremendous opportunity to grow the Chamber’s membership and with Wendy at the wheel, it will allow us to create even more opportunities for Greater Nashua businesses.”
“I love the Greater Nashua area, I live here and have worked here for years,” said Hunt. “Featuring the second largest city in the state, rich culture, parks, great dining options, and so much more, the opportunity to become the President and CEO was quite an easy choice. I am looking forward to working with the Chamber staff, Board of Directors, community leaders, and members of the Chamber to help all succeed.”
Hunt will be coming to the Greater Nashua Chamber on March 29th after serving as the Executive Director of the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce. When the Souhegan Valley Chamber and Greater Merrimack Chamber merged in February 2020, Hunt became the first President and CEO of the newly combined organization. She is the current chair of the board of directors for the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, has a Juris Degree from Stetson University, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida.
Wendy will start her new role at the Greater Nashua Chamber on March 29th.
